WOW!! We are from North Dakota and it was our first time in Kansas city. This place is AMAZING! We got the meat plate with 3. Everything was amazing but if I had to nit pick I would say the brisket was a little dry but that is it. We devoured out food and all left happy. I also have to give a shout out to Brooke Lynn our server. She was so kind and helpful. She checked on us frequently and helped with the menu and suggestions. This place is truly lucky to have her. I'd go back again just for her amazing service! The place was also clean and inviting. If you're looking for amazing BBQ look no further! Next time I'm in town I will for sure stop by again!

It's a very cool and relaxing ambiance to the place and the food was delicious! Me and my friend are huge fans of Shanky's (which is hard to find places that serve it locally) and they had plenty! Also the bartender was super nice and fun to talk to.

Let's start with the friendly hostess. Then we can jump to the awesome bartender and outstanding bar. Thanks for the great service. Not into taps but the house brand pineapple cider is a slam dunk. If you like top shelf they have your pour as well. Well no pics of food sorry we were hungry but the ribs were tender and compition ready slight tug but very tender. Well we will be back.

I ordered ribs with a side of beans and sweet potato. The Ribs were tender and juicy (even near closing time) and the sweet potato side was really good.

Omg some of the best burnt ends I've ever had I had here! They were crispy outside and soft on the inside. The color greens are so delicious! Even all the sides you can't go wrong with. Our server MJ was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful at picking out even the sides. They have a great place out and back to sit and enjoy on a nice sunny day. If you are in North Kansas City this is a place you need to try!

Out of towner here. Chose this place based on reviews and location. Shareable corn bread muffins, Pulled Pork, Ribs, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Coleslaw, all were delicious!! Service was great. Atmosphere gave the vibe. Will be on our “places to eat list” when in town!!

I loved his place. We had the sampler plate with ribs, brisket, pulled pork, slaw, baked beans, and some cornbread muffins. The meat was smoked perfectly. I loved the place and the service was great.

It is the best burnt ends/ burnt end sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the sweet potato casserole and it was very good, the chef must have heard me talking about how much I like collard greens because he sent me a sample of them with my order and they were excellent as well. However, our favorite side dish was the steak fries! They're cooked Golden brown crispy and generously seasoned with the rub. I've prob never reviewed fries, but these were top 3 fries I've ever ate. 10/10 will return for lunch or dinner.
